Hi there,

So I've recently copped a couple of stone chips to my front glass and after going back and forward with my insurer I've just decided to get an aftermarket replacement, after talking to the company who's doing the windscreen (O'Brian) they have basically said that they will install the aftermarket glass with aftermarket seals and what not.

My question is would the OEM seals be compatible with the aftermarket glass as I've heard that it's generally thicker? From what I can see on the front window assembly there are 3 seals required numbered 4, 8 and 5 as per below.

I'm presuming when the pull the factory glass the seals listed are unusable?

Any information would be appreciated, cheers.

The CTR and regular hatch use the same seals. Even though the windshields are marginally different

Oh ok that's good to know, regarding the items listed in the diagram are all needed for the glass replacement or just the seals?

I honestly would confirm whether its fuyao or not with the glass installer and get the solar acoustic one. The FL5 does not come with neither for weight saving that I think is negligible.
