Black unconnected bar inside Engine bay (SI), anyone know what it is? What’s the purpose of this bar? Why is only connected on one side or Did it snap

True, only looks like a line from the angle we're seeing it. Looks so small, maybe a little over an inch wide to do the job.
It'd be funny if not enough shielding is causing the sticky steering problems.
Also I'm surprised it doesn't seem to be made of aluminium...
