Just curious, to those that have signed the bill of sale and getting your cars soon, how much did you guys pay? Did you guys get lucky at MSRP or was it MSRP+shit ton of add ons?

Set my hard limit at 65k all fees included with 10k worth of accessories after they kept trying to get me to sign for 72k+ My dealer asked me to come in next week to finalize the deal, and the car is already at the dealership. We'll see how this goes. This doesn't seem like the worst deal. But I'm at my absolute max for my offer.

How do you guys sit? Would you pay 65k for this car?

You're basically paying 15k more than MSRP... I would be out.

I'd argue 10k really, but better accessories than just a straight ADM. You still have to pay freight, fees and taxes. All said an done even if you "pay msrp" it's going to be 55k at the cheapest province.

I'm 2nd and might get it next year ideally

I pressured them to send me a BOS so it's confirmed, even if prices change if I get the 2024 car instead.

Just got the BOS emailed 🙏 thank God.

Now just hoping Honda sends them a car soon.

Did you at least get the color you want? If a Honda called me at 65k out the door for the color I wanted, I'd probably do it. A Honda that returned my deposit called me again asking if I wanted it but it wasn't the color I wanted and wants 20k mark up... I can see why people are passing up on it.

i was gonna say 55k out the door is at msrp but for 10k ad ons still a bit steep, would suspect you're getting the cf wing, and forged wheels at least may be some warranty but those parts don't seem to be available in Canada, at least based on Honda.ca...

also getting the color you want is that mere luck, since allocations including colors are pre determined and pre selected by Honda for each dealership regardless of what order the dealerships put in

happy for you guys on securing one though

Speaking of Bill of Sale.

Newbie here! Guys I have a question, hope you can help me. I got my “Bill of Sale” last August 06, 2022 stating “First right to refusal on a 2023 Honda Civic Type-R (White)” and “Payment terms TBD”. Also had a DP of 1k CAD. Does it mean I am guaranteed to get one, or they can still remove me from the list if they decided to?

Sadly dealer can do anything they want, they don't have to honour that as it was really just a gesture. If they are getting an allocation and are straight up they could honour it or magically bump you and sell the car to a friend or family member of the dealer management. Sadly that is happening a lot...

Hopefully it works out for you, we need some positive stories!

You should have received a call from the dealership by now confirming they recieved their allocation for the car. If not, go pay them a visit and find out where you stand.

Curious, do you think leasing the FL5 makes sense? Dealer told me residual after 4 years would be $25,000+tax. I'm thinking, well will this car ever get down to that number? Limited allocations plus FK8's not depreciating at all makes me think this car would hold value. You could save on some tax and get the car for cheaper later. Any thoughts?

Already received a call from the manager but they just told me that it will be next year. I asked about the price and when can we make a deal but they said no deal and price can be given until the car arrives. So like what Midnight said, I assume that its not a done deal for sure.
