If the TR drives anything like the regular WRX then no. The suspension on the WRX is weirdly too soft and rolly through the corner but too harsh on high frequency bumps.

Off topic, anyone here considering 24 WRX TR if they can’t get the CTR?

The exterior is slightly growing on me, but still can’t stand the interior of that car… or are these totally diff type of cars?

I’d rather have a 2024 Elantra N than a WRX.

I agree. Hyundai continues to get a bad rap, but they've turned a corner years ago IMHO. The Elantra N is a solid performance car relative to price point. I've heard countless people speak highly of the Veloster N as well.

Glad it worked out! Backstory is when @onepointsixposted the car I looked through my emails from last October and found the contact of the sales guy I was dealing with there. I previously inquired about this dealer and they told me the car was allocated to someone back then so I figured I’d follow up again as it showed up on the site as “in stock”. Turns out the financing fell through and the car was available!

Yeah! And that’s why to those people who’s still in search for one, there is still a chance even if you’re not on a list or allocation yet. This group for sure proved it!

It’s not a perfect deal. It has MSRP + an add-on of PPF whole front + ceramic coat for the whole FL5 which can’t be refrained as it has been done before I contacted them and I’m planning to do it too anyways + key fob warranty. Since the car is gonna be a DD, I added a good deal with their winter tires + installation. I’m pretty sure there’s more better deals coming out there, but yeah it’s better than my old allocation which was 70K + BC Tax and Shipping.

Shipment was also handled by the dealership with full warranty. Cost me 1,000 CAD. And since the deal needed some signature from me, the Salesperson drove 14hrs (back and forth)! Lol, so yeah I’m pretty happy with the deal.

I thought so too, that’s why the deal almost went off. Hats off to him for making it possible!

I believe it doesnt come with the all weather ones. I already ordered a Tuxmat too so yeah.

Dealership is in Alberta (St. Albert Honda). I’m next to get one luckily this deal came in. btw, if anyone would be interested. I’ll be pulling my #1 list on St. Albert AB and #3 list on Pacific Honda BC early 2024. Though I wouldn’t recommend them myself.
