Hey all, I recall seeing a review here before of the red tow CF console from CarbonSixthElement. I had ordered around the same time plus side mirror caps, and thought I'd provide some pics and thoughts.

Original order took 8 wks, got it just before the new year. Mirror Caps look great, weave is mostly tight, a little longer proportions than the OEM weave but most significantly it is brighter because the resin is not tinted dark. It looks unnoticeable from a far distance, subtle from a short distance, and pretty good near it. I do think the OEM CF wing is too dark, I don't really notice it at all unless I'm standing next to it and looking. Quality of the fit is pretty good, it's a little thicker than the OEM black in some areas but for the most part fit is really good for a handmade part. No blemishes in the clear and no defects aside from some very minor parts where the weave isn't super tight. I had PPFd the stock covers so I will get these PPFd soon too. These are replacement caps not overlay, so you have to pop off the black ones.

Console cover originally had pretty wavy weave, uneven tow, like it was rushed. I notified the seller and he offered to remake it, which took another 8 weeks. Wasn't fun to wait, but I'm grateful he stood behind the quality and shipped another after personally checking the cloth and finish. Fit and finish is great, weave is very even just like the mirror caps. Again it is brighter than the OEM option, and maybe a bit flashy in direct sun, but I haven't seen the $700 one in person so I can't judge directly. I like the look, though I did miss the cold feel and texture of the aluminum - it grew on me though it still felt out of place in the cabin - maybe it should've been anodized gunmetal. Overall really happy with it, covers all the aluminum and no issues yet.

Ps this image uploader is really picky about the image format.

Center console is that stick on, or complete replacement?

@CaryH 99.9% positive all these CF garnishes are stick-on. Some guys, like Mugen, have a few full replacement parts which you’ve probably seen. They’re also more $.
