As title states, I have what feels like a slight lag after a top of second into third gear up shift. You’ll be on the throttle and it feels like there’s a half second delay before it gets up and going again.

No grinds or anything that feels like a bad shift, just that slight delay in power delivery and then all is normal.

Is this the clutch delay valve? Or some kind of programmed delay? It feels the same every time. Could be other gears too but top of third into fourth rarely happens the way I drive and at that speed I’m usually looking for cops lol

Good thread here, makes sense. I figured it was normal behavior since it’s exactly the same every time. Anyone have any real changes in feel by turning TC off? I’ve left it on so I don’t end up in the ditch. Might turn it off after I have some more seat time

i don't think turning traction control off turns off stability control, so you should be good. someone correct me if i'm wrong though.

If anyone cares, the solution to this is to shift at redline. Basically as it’s beeping at you, shift.
