Hi all,

My FL5 makes this exaggerated fan noise as I'm reversing my in the garage and continues as it's parked for a bit. It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens enough where I've noticed it. It doesn't matter if it's a long drive or a short one, the noise can still occur. Was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing and knows what the cause is. Posted a video recording of the sound.

The fan will kick on more frequently when sitting or barely moving because the engine needs airflow (for cooling and combustion). When driving, air naturally flows in, so the fan isn’t needed. Your fan is just doing its job.
