Does anyone have any recommendations with trying to use the car's built in Honda log system to track vehicle dynamics/characteristics? I got my 2024 Type R last year and ran a few events in my area and the analytics the system provides are really nice but it's definitely more track focused.
Manually setting the starting & finishing lines from an overheard satellite image in the car's small infotainment tablet is really cumbersome and i've only gotten it kinda configured correctly a few times. The basic auto scoring system seems to work well enough but I was wondering if anyone has tried to use the entire suite for auto X analytics. Judging from many youtube videos, people have various 3rd party custom kit setups (either hardware & software) which seems to do a pretty good job giving overlays onto dashcam/hoodcam footage. The built in Honda log seems to offer a similar capability but configuring it seems a little tough to get for stuff like auto X (I haven't been to proper track yet to really test the logging system in its intended use case)
