I wish there was an aftermarket 15 gallon tank available
Range anxiety in a civic

Not too bad if you are cruising on the freeway staying out of boost the majority of the time. I agree it'd be nice to have a 15 Gallon tank. But then, the curb weight will be heavier than what some people may like.

Worth nothing the standard hybrid Civic has a 40 litre tank...

Could that be the answer here? I'm not sure whether the hybrid Civic is available in the US or other LHD markets so, if it isn't, perhaps our (and Japan's?) RHD FL5s have inherited the smaller hybrid tank, smaller than LHD FL5s which are based on pure ICE chassis with a bigger tank?

Both LHD and RHD 11th Gen Civic has the same 47 Liter/12.8 Gallon tank across all models except Hybrid.

11th Gen Civic Hybrid has 40L/10.58 Gallon tank.

I care, it means I have to go fill up during track days and more stops on roads trips. We don’t all live your life.

Yes, this is important. The fk8 has fuel starvation issues once you hit the half tank mark. I went into limp mode this week on the track because of this. Every 10 or so laps I need to stop to refuel. I hope they have it fixed for the fl5.
