Morning! not wanting to cause any click bait. Past Monday I got 2 recall letters for my 2023 FL5 - High pressure fuel pump and sticky steering.

I found this video on the latter - - but not much information on the former, which scares me due to fire risks. I called the dealer immediately and got parts ordered. Just wanted to ask your experience on the repair and after repair experience, I assume there are no risks, am I right? Thanks for chiming in!

I had not heard about the fuel pump recall. I don't think you need to worry about fire risk too much. It should be safe to drive the car normally until your dealer gets the repair parts.

Fuel pumps were a thing for all FK8's. Since they share the same engine it makes sense the FL5 might be affected as well.

FK8 sources the fuel pump from Great Britain. The FL5 doesn’t
