If you're searching for a "volt jack", probably won't find anything. I think you are looking for a battery tender or charger.

Big fan of using NOCO myself.

no. imwant to be able to plug a celll phone or camera into a jack and have it charge while the car is off..... thanks !!

Oh, are you talking about for the 12 volt accessory power port that's next to the USB ports? If you are, that does not stay on when the car is off. By design the ports are disabled when the car is off to prevent battery drain.

If you're just looking to charge a phone or camera while the car is off, should look into a portable power bank, but if you still want to use the 12 volt port there are a bunch of different adapters on Amazon.

Recommend: Velcro a power bank under the center console dash. Keep the power bank plugged into the car charge port and plug the phone into the power bank for charging with the car off. This avoids car power drains.
Not recommended: I've directly wired accessories to the car battery before (not the CTR). You have to find a suitable firewall penetration or add a new one. Accessory wiring should be fused.

That's a decent idea, but I would want to take the power bank in with me and not leave it inside a car, unless its one that is able to take the heat like those backup batteries made for dash cams.

You could always run one of these in place of the factory outlet and then run a power wire to the fuse box to a constant 12v source

Thanks Nam... that's an interesting solution. I wonder if this "intelligent". design would then act as a trickle charger as opposed to a full-time 12V drain once the phone is charged... that's what I am trying to solve.... I suspect a full-time 12v would drain the car battery..... even to an iphone

a quick google brought back a pro max battery being 5000 mah with the smaller phones being 3700-4000 mah. Fl5 battery is 40k-60k mah. I don’t think charging a phone will kill the battery
