It’s the smaller turbo wheel that is getting all that torque down low. Personally I’m not a fan of the approach just because high torque at low rpms can cause issues. But it makes the car feel peppy thats for sure. I think a MHI stage 2 turbo is the sweet spot for the car and what it should have come with from the factory.
I'm on the fence about getting a different turbo...I'm wanting to keep quick spool up. I see a lot doing that RV6 turbo...as for the MHI...is it better for daily driving compared to the RV6 or is it the same?

I'm also wanting to keep things simple it possible later down the line and only use 93 octane...I know that prob seems strange to some, but I don't want another tank to worry about in the car...and just want to put gas in like normal lol

Sorry OP if I'm going on a tangent on your post.

I don’t mind. Yeah I want a turbo down the road for sure. But for now. And 900 miles on the car I’m good 😂

Which map are you running on the TSP tune? Before I stored it, I kept it on map 4 for low boost and it was still a monster. Map 1 and 2 scared me- I’ll save those for the track haha.
Currently on MAP 1. Haven’t even looked into MAP switching yet and I have no idea how to do it. I’ll figure it out one day.

assuming it's the same way as I have it set up...hold cruise resume, in the up position, then pic 1-5. the rpm will go from 1 to 2 to 3, etc, as you click through it. Mine is setup for number 5 to use less torque. Then 3 is full power but 50% TC, 4 is just full out power. I think 1 and 2 for me is like lower settings...lower boost

My goal is similar, nothing crazy and just straight up pump tune. MHI stage 2 still has a very quick spool.
