just pull it off the hard line (twist the coupler back and forth) and the clamp will come out easily afterwards - I did not have to loosen the clamp to get the hard line out and I don't use a clamp there anymore
Last time that's what I did and I think I created a small tare in the rubber piece that goes into the valve cover there. This time I backed it out using some needle pliers that I ordered from the back of the screw, then loosened it up more from the front with the needle nose.
That design really is crap to work around right there because everything is so tight right there. I don't think I messed anything up this time though.
