Hello, how to measure height between front and rear? Should we looking at fender gap or jacking point on chassis?

Do you prefer rear rake or front rake and usually how much the difference between front and rear that you find it rides very good in cornering and straight stability?

Thank you in advance :)

Toooo many variables. Spring rates, Dampening. etc. Dial the car in as you go.

basic
Step 1. Measure current suspension ride height using the same reference points you're going to use when you install the Coilovers.
-ie jack points 6F 8R

Step 2. Install coil overs ( lowered 2"?)
-ie, new jack point 4F 6R

dampening? Start at full stiff. work your way back to soft, in equal clicks.

Good luck and update us when you've finished. 🤙🏾

Hi there. Thank you for chime in.
Spring rate 7KG front & 6KG rear.
Currently running 21 out of 30 clicks front and 17 out of 32 clicks rear, it is 1-way coilover.
For now, from tile ground to the chassis point is 13.9 cm front and 14.8 cm rear. And from rims top lips to the fender is 6.6 cm front and 6.3 cm rear. I see that the front fender is a bit higher 3 mm than the rear. I feel like the car is more lazy and more bodyroll a bit when zig zag, compare to previous height rear rake about almost 1 cm.
What do you think mate?

Front and rear fender arch is not the same. Rim to the top lip of the fender is incorrect.

Start fresh and reset the coilover height. Test drive.

still lazy/roll in zig zag? try increasing the spring pre-load by turning the collar up 5mm.

still lazy?
wheel alignment. A proper alignment can make the car respond better. I don't know any specs for this chassis yet. Hopefully someone can chime in with help.

body roll? it's not really a bad thing, but to reduce it.
sway bars or new spring rates.

Preload is already 5 mm for front and rear as the manufacturer of coilover recommendation.
So how to measure the rake? From the ground to the jack point? Currently the front and rear difference is 1,5 cm measured from tile ground to the side jack point. When I add more rear rake, feels better when turning but is it too much?

setup the car in away that it operates safely and best for you. We do not know exactly what you're experiencing or the driving conditions,

height/rake should be set from the jack points on an even floor.

i'd ask your questions here, bunch of skilled guys in here more familiar with the chassis than I am.

Hi mate, I finally doing final setup that has 15 mm (1.5 cm) difference between front and rear. Feels good so far.

May I know your coilover and rake setup?
