That looks awesome, I have had your exact same plan but in Platinum White Pearl. It look absolutely awesome, and totally take away any potential “Type R poser vibes” 😎

I had a few questions:
1) Did you sand/scuff the original red paint? Or use any primer?

2) How much paint did you use? (as in, one can etc.)

3) Did you clear coat the final product?

That looks fantastic, nice job, and good idea going blue. I like red but not if it isn't on a CTR, so boost blue is legit. Good work.

Thanks everyone!!👍🏻

1. You absolutely should scuff up the surface, clean it, then prime it.
I however, did not! 🤣🤣 I quite literally just took it out of the box, taped it off, and sprayed the base color. “Full Send!”

2. I did about 5-6 coats and probably used 60%~ of the can.🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

3. No clear either. I really just did this as a test to see if it holds up as is. Just checked and it looks exactly the same lol. No deformations or other issues. And if it does go to shit…I start over and sand, prime, base, clear, etc. next time if that becomes necessary.

Do you still have you other one for sale? (What state are you in)

also, is you/your car on Instagram?

I had our parts dept order 3 of them, so now there’s two sitting there, so yes sir, I can get you one asap if you’d like.

In NY, but I’m not on IG.

Send me a DM here if you need 👍🏻
