Bought this used oem alcantara wheel from a fellow owner. They didn't disclose the pictured minor damage to the wheel. I watched a few install videos and it looks like the plastic button overlay clips into this area. I know some have mentioned they've had issues with plastic parts not clipping on correctly and staying put during reinstall.
Does anyone who has done the install remember if this is a problem area or an important place for plastic pieces to clip in? For the $100 saved compared to a new wheel, not sure this is worth the risk to get half-way and find things don't clip on. I don't think this is a structural issue, but don't want to have a plastic tab continually unclipping due to the damage. Thanks for any insight!
