I heard that plastic retains heat and if so is the intake box made out of a special type of plastic that does not absorb heat as much?

This would be no different than the stock airbox being plastic which helps dissipate the heat better than metal.

AHHHHHH! After waiting, and waiting & following another thread that had pages going through the development I missed out. I ended up picking up a Mishimoto & wasn't on the forum for a while (can't log-in with my old credentials for some reason) and missed this. Looks like I may need to sell something to swap over. lol
