JDC customs can do black, silver, gold, rainbow.....it looks the same save no "bezel rehaut" but not sure if they did it...they absolutely could - and black does go exactly with the dash...so cudos to chuck76. I like it a lot too! Fit is perfect for the record. See pictures in the plastic bezel in the first post.

I wonder if there’s a way for them to do a gated shifter plate….???

Gated shifters look cool, but they can add friction and clunkiness. I'll take my stock CTR shift feel over a Ferarri 308 gated shifter anyday (though the 308 was still very nice to drive).
