Hey All,
We just dropped a neat 3-piece upgraded Boost Tube Kit for the FL5/DE5 twins. This one is simple, the stock OE rubber boost tubes kinda suck...they yield/expand too much under boost pressure. Even stock pressures. Turn up the boost and the problem gets even worse.
No such issue with our upgraded kit. We switch things up and ditch the OE rubber in favor of Silicone. Then add a wire reinforced bead to make sure the tubes don't collapse under pressure. Run 30+ psi through them with no issues. We'll also throw in an upgraded Silicone TB coupler because if the FL5/DE5 is anything like the older FK8, this part is known to tear after 50K miles or so of use.
This kit will work with the stock FMIC if you're still on that or any aftermarket FMIC that retains the use of the OE charge piping/boost tubes. Retail is $189.99 and two colors are available. Red or Grey.
