The negative to that style is folks can see your sunglasses - might be a small incentive to break-in.

I personally can't stand anything on visors and a lot of things clips can leave a mark that is permanent if left on for a long time. I'm also not sure how I feel about the handle replacement shown by the OP but at least it is reversible.
