Not cheap I'm sure lol. Any idea on how much the OEM FL5 alcantara rear seat covers cost?
The wheel took about 2 weeks, from payment to delivery. The latter order with the 8 parts took about 1.5 months (had to order parts, backordered, etc, and then work on them). After you receive the parts, you would send back your cores. He's a good guy and does good work, but he's also a one-man team I believe, so may need to be a little patient.
So you’re getting someone else’s core but with the material you requested? Or are you getting additional parts and sending those to be worked on?
The former. These types of parts I don't mind since they're either good or they're not, and it's underneath the alcantara. However, to give an example, if he for some reason needed the rear seat to put the covers on (I don't see why since I could probably install it myself), I would send him mine to work on. Don't want flattened cushions from some potential heavyweight who sat on them or seats that were farted into oblivion by strangers. Lol.
Little over $1000 for the OEM rear Alcantara covers and associated hardware.
Thanks - do you happen to know what the associated hardware is and what it looks like? I assume to help secure the cover tightly to the seat so it looks professional?
