Not a big deal for me to wait since my Type R is in storage. Even with that said still can't wait to get it once it is back in stock. Going to be a fun spring

I noticed on the webpage it shows the specs below. Is there any chance you guys can provide the settings for each trim that is closest to stock form? That way we have a starting point to make adjustments from.

  • Throw can be adjusted to the user's preference and reduced substantially if desired.
    • 29%-55% reduction in throw on the Sport
    • 24%-52% reduction in throw on the Si
    • 15%-46% reduction in throw on the FK8 CTR
  • Gate spacing is also adjustable and can be adjusted to the user's preference.
    • 0%-36% reduction in gate spacing on the Sport
    • 2%-37% reduction in gate spacing on the Si
    • 10% increase to 30% reduction in gate spacing on the FK8 CTR
  • Knob height adjustable +24mm/-10mm compared to stock

Same. I was thrown off with the "afternoon" hint assuming it would be after 12:00 my time (PST). Lo and behold, I check IG at 11:45 on my break and it was already sold out. It sucks that vendors gobbled them up lol.

Edit: I just bought it from Axion Industries and they also have free shipping. Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE this question. So for the gear and throw adjustment, to get as close to stock as possible, put the adjustments all the way up (all the way down would be minimum throw and gate spacing). Also put the knob height around 3 to 4. That will get you in the realm of our stage 2 kit on a stock shifter but with a bit more centering force. From there, you can make substantial reductions. I recommend getting the gear throw right first, then tweaking the gate-spacing to match it (by match, I simply mind, find the balance that suits you). Note that centering force is slightly reduced as gate spacing is reduced, since the distance the shift lever needs to travel laterally is reduced.

I like running our shop car with the shortest throw, gate spacing at about 50% of the adjustment range, and the knob height at 1. The reduction compared to stock is unreal and the shifts are so crisp and satisfying. :)

Glad you found one! Yeah dealers snapped up about 1/2 of what we had.

Did they? Uh oh. I placed an order with them the day after and they already took the money out of my account.
e-mailed them when it didn't ship, so we're waiting until march.

I emailed them as well and am waiting for a response. Damn! Had I known, I would've waited lol. It's misleading since it doesn't state anywhere on their website that it's on backorder or it's not available.

Actually, within maybe 10 minutes of them going out of stock last week, we added a bold note at the top of the description on both the shifter and stage 3 kit pages to notify customers of the backorder and wait time (see the screen capture below). We're not out to fool anyone, promise :) . We are accepting backorders for those that wish to hold have a guaranteed spot in the next batch and are doing what we can to accelerate the ship date for the next batch. We are not able to draft the payment at a later time, so please keep in mind that the payment will be drafted immediately. We have been trying to email all customers that place an order to confirm they're aware of the wait time. If you have ordered the shifter and have not received an email from us about the wait, please feel free to contact us here or via the contact us form on our site. Also, if you accidentally completed payment and don't wish to wait for the backorders to ship, we can cancel the order and provide a refund, but keep in mind that we cannot guarantee that shifters from the next batch won't sell out. Right now, I believe around 50 of 150 units are spoken for. ~Russ
