Just an update... ended up getting 30k on a trade for a '25 Championship White with 720miles for 47.5k.. Carvana offered 31k cash. Autotrader bombared me with scams.

Brand new infinite/used car dealership opend up shop 2 months ago, "looking to establish a name" and let it roll out the door easily. Showed me what he paid on the computer (not sure if this can be edited to fool me) but he paid 48.3 and said hes just Just moving units, got a truckload of cars coming in, which he did as i was asked to help move cars because noone knew how to drive stick when my car got blocked in by the delivery crew after closing.

Mugen Red floor mat set
Carbon Fiber Spoiler
Blitz Sway bar
Tints (which unfortunately had to be removed by the dealer for inspection)

Flaws: tiny pinhole paint chip on rear bumper and side rear fender. Barely noticeable.
No fix-a-flat kit. (Shouldve swiped the one from the Si when they werent lookin!) I kept the spare tire kit i had purchased so if anyone in NYC area is looking for one for the Si I got you!

Prior owner may have been a cigar smoker. Hard to tell. Very feint smoke smell (not cigarettes). I myself smoke sticks but im going to miss that new car smell.

Anyone have any ideas on odor removal?
(Cabin air filter was spotless)

Another thing, the car had been owned for roughly 10months yet the oil was at 20% at 720miles.

Ive heard this could be due to lenght of time/sitting based on maintenance algorithm. This is my first honda, so please enlighten me.

That said, my mechanic (forner honda tech) approved the vehicle. Very clean. No signs of accidents/paint job.
Not as bad of a bath as if think you'd take. Guy took advantage of you big time asking to move manual cars. I woulda asked for MSRP OTD before I even walked in, and after that whole "can you move the cars for us" I woulda asked for more off.

It was last minute, the place was closed and we were all waiting for ONE customer who read every single financial document from start to finish. hours. By the time, i got in, the finance didnt even put effort into convincing to get anything. Denied everything and signed off in 10minutes.

The guys didnt realize my car had been blocked in from the new arrivals until 10pm. I had no choice really. I only moved my trade in and the Type R anyway.

I texted them earlier, "When i come in for the Oil change, im swapping the fix-a-flat for the labor I did last night". He said fine. The Type R just arrived the day before, they didnt even know it had carbon fiber or sway bars and a missing fix a flat. I only mentioned the kit was missing. I couldve gotten away with the switcheroo.

oh well, so far so good.

Congrats!
For odor removal I suggest a bomb of sorts.. There are tons of options and I haven't bought one in years, but id go with a brand you trust and/or something with good ratings. Maintenance minder sounds like you are almost at the 1 year mark (time requirement) and im gonna guess they probably didnt take it on long drives often (short trips cause mm to knock % down due to moisture) - just info, nothing else..
Makes sense! ill do some homework on bombs. Thanks

Ozone machine for the smell. Cheap, effective & reusable.
