You had a chance to walk away when they brought up those charges. It's messed up but you agreed to it. They’ll probably order the locks and give them to you afterwards.

I understand how it happens as it was really hard to negotiate for my car when I really wanted it. I’d say $8K over in Southern California is a pretty fair deal given the current market. People waiting for MSRP will probably have to wait until 2024/2025 when the MSRP will be a few thousand higher anyway.

If you haven't gotten the misunderstanding resolved yet, I hope you get it cleared up soon.

I'm in DFW and thankfully, the dealer included the accessories and extras within the $6,500 premium on top of MSRP - extra year of bumper to bumper warranty, tint, wheel locks, nitrogen in tires, interior/exterior protection, all weather floor mats, etc.
