1.5T TSP Stage 1 Tune Non Si 1.5T different map 3 question

So I just ordered a ktuner from TSP and on the website is stated it has 3 different maps which I understand but what does Map 3 do as it just says
Map 3: Custom boost target in normal/Sport, 16.5psi target in Eco

What does "Custom Boost Target? mean?

What does "Custom Boost Target? mean?

In this case (Stage 1 non-Si), the custom boost target is 24.0psi.

Peak boost can vary based upon environmental factors. For example, users at high elevation will unfortunately never see 24.0psi with the factory turbo, regardless of the tune.
