Hello guys,

I'm planning to buy a new set of wheels for my FL5 Civic Type R, and I've found a really good deal on a set of JR Wheels JR42s.

The specs are 19x9.5J, 5x120, ET35. The only thing that concerns me is the ET35offset, as I know the stock wheels are ET60.

I'd like to keep my factory 265/30 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires on these wheels and use the stock wheels with winter tires.

Has anyone used these wheels or the same wheel specs (19x9.5J ET35) with the factory 265/30 PS4S tires on an FL5? Did you have any issues with rubbing or fitment?

Thanks!

I am running spacers and my offset is + 40 in the front and +35 in the rear with stock FL5 wheels with a 265/35/19 tire. I don't think you will have any issues running the new wheels with the stock rubber bands provided you aren't slammed . I am lowered on H& R springs (mild drop) with zero rub. Stock camber.

Is your car stock height or lowered? Stock height will be fine with those wheels. If it's lowered then it will be dependent on how low your car is. I believe H&R and Spoon lowering springs will be fine, can't speak to the others though.
