History tells me that existing flashpro devices meant for one vehicle make/model/engine will not work with another model car.

Additionally, I know that as of now, flashing the car will not work. For a tune, you'll have to modify your existing ECU.
Are you thinking like a piggyback or something like the S300?

exactly... like kpro...

But Hondata does not want to go that route.

So all these delays are because they have BEEN trying to create a product like Flashpro for the fk8.

They haven't even cracked the fk2 ecu (same brand BOSCHE)

I wouldn't oppose the kpro-type route if we got some enhancements like flex-fuel ability, pnp connectivity to traction control type modules, and maybe connectivity to some of the custom gauges/meters I've been seeing...but if those features still wouldn't be available, I'd want a Flashpro-like product also.

Has anyone tried to hook up a VAG-COM? lol.

Well not foreverrrr, I'm patient, I got my dream car now so it's all good till next spring at least..
I meant you'll wait forever to get your tune to work with the Flashpro you have. Because a flashpro device for the FK8 does not exist.
