Got my winter tires mounted and added some spacers. Has a slight poke up front with 20mm but looks meaty.

Used my Type R to deliver a new dishwasher to our cabin. I had initially arranged to get a friend with a pickup to help but took some quick measurements and found that the dishwasher fit easily, with room to spare. I love how practical this fun little car be.

Christmas came a few days early. Finally got my TSP downpipe installed, along with TSP titanium studs kit. Paired with the 27 Won Kuro turbo with RV6 bypass valve, both wrapped with the TSP & PTP blankets. The blankets are not fun to put on with the lack of space. The turbo blanket also needs a tiny bit of trimming to make it fit better.

The downpipe needed a bit more clearance when you use the TSP titanium studs kit. The lower stud on the exhaust side is just a tad too long. I feel that this is something TSP should have accounted for considering both are TSP products.

Another thing to mention is the downpipe lower brackets. @blazindominican had to put in a few washers on both brackets to lessen the tension. This again is something that aftermarket downpipe makers should account for to either give you longer brackets or something to make the brackets work without so much tension. It’s just all in due time that the stress would cause damage.

Lastly, had the Hasport rear motor mount put in. So far with the updated tune from @Jester04 it’s good. No CEL and don’t expect to see one. No real driving impressions yet since I’ve only driven 20 miles and is still breaking in the Kuro turbo. The car does sound a bit louder and I don’t feel much of the RMM.

Thanks to @blazindominican for the detailed install. Thanks for Wes at @Two Step Performance for answering my countless emails on product inquiries. Thanks to @Jester04 on sending me a new map during busy times. Early Merry Christmas!

Weird. I have the TSP downpipe, with their studs, and the blankets for turbo and downpipe, and I didn't have any of the issues you are describing. No modifications needed and no washers needed.

Did you put turbo blanket on after the kuro was installed?
I have to put mine on this weekend and not really looking forward to it.

The blanket goes on after the turbo is installed. The blanket to the hot side needs a little trimming.

Maybe the tolerance is minor but mine was just a bit off.
