How's the ride compared to stock? Is comfort softer?

The ride quality of about the same. Very pleased with it all. If it's anything it might be slightly stiffer but hardly noticeable.

How much does lowering? Is it a lot? How much does it set you back monetary compared to an established brand?
1in drop all around, its like almost 400? I'm more concerned about longevity and ride quality

I paid about $280 with discounts.
Total for the springs and spacers was $470 tax and all. And yes 1" front exactly and just a hair under inch in the rear.

I was sceptical at first also, but after receiving everything I was more then happy with my purchase. Ride quality is great, no noise, no vibration smooth and it all looks good quality. All companies have to start somewhere. Look for first purchase discounts also and repeat purchase discounts. They are trying to get the name out there so decent promos. Get on before they decide they have a good thing and raise prices 🤣🤣🤣

Longevity isn’t possible without some testing, and some companies have been doing this for years. They need to start somewhere. I don’t think that’s exactly how things have been handled in this case, but it’s still a possibility and an option that exists.

Ride quality is something that matters to everyone, though some people are more sensitive to it than others. I see people here complain about the car feeling a certain way, but to me, it doesn’t feel that way at all. First, a “sport” car will never ride like an E-Class. Second, many people here install the Type S module and say the car feels different afterward—that could be an option worth trying.

Personally, I even drove with my wife to Austin and back in +R mode, and she didn’t notice any difference. Maybe I’m just used to older cars and how they ride, but to me, this car feels pretty nice. When I eventually add lowering springs, I plan to go with H&R because 1” is too much for my driveway but pair them with the DSC box. That way, I can better fine-tune the electronic suspension settings for a more comfortable ride. This could be another option for you that might help a bit.

It’s also possible the manufacturers are using feedback from current owners to research, develop, and refine their springs. Over time, that feedback can help them make adjustments for a better experience.

I wonder who makes the springs for them... I can't imagine they are doing the manufacturing but I could be wrong.

$280 is not a bad price, thats about what I paid for the H&Rs. Car looks good!

I am fairly certain that most if not all AFD are an alibaba rebrand of some sort. For example, their exhausts look awfully similar to alibaba products, not saying that all alibaba is bad, since at the end of the day, exhaust is just a metal pipe.

When I have money to throw, I wanna test out the alibaba exhaust lmao
