Congrats! Super jealous, that's what I want to add to my garage someday soon. Condition looks great! Out of curiousity, why not the ap2?
Silverstone, nice! I like this colour, my first s2k was an SSM AP2v2.

As promised, wheels are mounted. I’ll let the suspension settle in then make final adjustments. Here’s how she sits for now.

Looks awesome! 🤩 Those are 19x10 +40? Any rubbing? How low did you go with your coilovers? I’ve been eyeing some in 19x10 +37 but I’m pretty sure I’d have to add a bit more camber to not rub my 265/35 R19 AD09s. Im lowered ~20mm vs stock and already rub occasionally with stock wheels at +40 with spacers. Man TE37s look incredible on this car.

I did the exhaust valve fuse mod today. A very mild difference, makes me want to take out the front resonator too...
Do it!! I did the resonator delete first, then the fuse mod and I absolutely love the sound.

You may be disappointed just removing the front resonator as I believed it only increase volume by maybe 5% to 10%. I went straight to removing the larger resonator and is quite happy with it. Still have the front smaller resonator in place, but I think I'm good with the sound right now. The shop I went to told me that people that only removed the front smaller resonator usually return to have the second larger one taken out as well soon after.

Probably sounds good brother ! What’s crazy though is someone always sounds different for their needs . I remember when I had a Remark someone needed louder although sounded good but wanted more .to me it was perfect as most did.

Yeah these are 19x10 Et40, center Hub 64.1mm. Tires are “BF Goodrich G-Force 265/35r19 Summer tires. No rubbing at all. I had the RSR coilovers first on my FK8 for almost 1-1/2, and now i have them on my FL5 for about 2-3 month now give or take. I’m maybe .7” drop front and rear, so roughly (17mm)

I took a different approach with my OEM exhaust, removed the front resonator and installed a Megaphone in place of it. Then took a full 3” front pipe and tapered it down to 2.5” where it meets the exhaust. left the 3” as is where it meets the DP. Sound is definitely much more noticeable with the valve open.
