Well after my almost 30 day wait on back order my Spoon Springs arrived out of Japan. Once in Stock the dealer Two day aired them to me👍🏻
Now I just have to wait another month for the install since there backed up. No big deal I waited this long although pretty excited and can’t wait !

HKS Hi-Power installed on our tester FL5 :)

*background music is a tad loud, sorry about that. 12:35 to skip to sound clips if you're only interested in that.

Sounds really good and love the tips. Sounds very similar to my Remark SS Dual tip it has that same deep tone at idle and ripping through the RPMs👍🏻

Also added another bling since I had spare rolls of thermal tape...I decided to rewrap the Eventuri turbo inlet pipe, HKS intercooler pipes, and stock throttle body inlet pipe primarily to reduce thermal transfer during low airflow conditions.

Installed the PRL Carbon Inlet Pipe. Also painted the cast portion with ceramic black paint for better aesthetics. Upon finishing and checking everything over, noticed one of the HVI bolts had fallen out 😳. Have heard these can come out due to vibration. Will be reaching out to PRL for replacement bolts. Fellow HVI owners, check your bolts!

My FL5 is a daily driver. No down time from my end on any of the modifications installed to date. The thermal wrap may not be everyone’s cup of tea but it is very effective and easy to install.

Your build has had more down time than mine. Maybe take a step back and consider other build approaches. One thing that we have in common is no vendor brand loyalty while dumping a ton of money on upgrades to fit our unique build goals and expectations. On the other hand, why did you decide to keep the billboard painted on the front of your Intercooler?
