Haha - first thing I did was have my window tint guy remove the tint that the dealer put on and put 20% ceramic tint all around and 35% on windshield (this has been my go to configuration for many many cars! Cant hardly drive another car without it due to the difference with sun).

Springs are for sure coming at some point, and some bolt-ons!

Congrats !
Now run and hide your wallet this forum is very active filled with many enablers ! πŸ˜†πŸ‘ŠπŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»
Now throw some spoon springs on there and tint the windows πŸ˜† Only to start of course ;)

Yes and a year newer not that it matters. Going to run this one stock for a while except for the Honda OEM+ CF wing I took off my SGP. Kind of missed it being stock but will see how long that last lol.
Originally wanted CW and changed my mind when I got to the dealer back early 2024 they had SGP and CW.
Loved the grey but went back to what I originally wanted.

How did your deal go down??
I know you kept the cf spoiler, anything else? Don’t know how many miles on your 24 but do the dealer rape you for the new 25? Hope they didn’t do you dirty πŸ‘πŸΌ

No I got a great deal on my trade it had very low miles and mint condition never even saw rain lol. I got just under sticker for it and sticker for CW plus Extended warranty/ paint protection. They had two a rally red and Cw had both listed at 5000 over ADM but also dealer add ons. This is my 3rd from them and they treat me good. The main deal was set through the GM and GSM. The salesman did the delivery and the finance manager was also a nice guy . Great experience as always πŸ‘πŸ»
Also all my mods they are taking off for me and giving them back to me. They want to put it back to stock. They took care of me just like on my 24 SGP. Same thing 5000 over listed and on that one I payed 500 over sticker . They sold a black one for 5000 over right after I bought SGP back in early 24.. They always hook me up and I always leave them sparkling reviews that they justly deserve. They said I’m a nice guy :) and I feel the same about them !

First post to the forums! Purchased my CW FL5 back on December 12th at MSRP from Sloane Honda (from Larry W) in NE Philly. I asked them not to detail the car because I’ve have bad experiences with my Acura dealership washing my MDX with what I imagine to be a brillow pad. Here’s a shot I took when I was picking it up, they only sprayed it off. I immediately took to a detailer to get detail, tint, and full PPF.

This past Saturday I took delivery of this Sonic Grey Pearl 2025 Type R. I was able to negotiate 3000$ off of MSRP. Another local dealer had a Championship White for 2000$ off advertised. I used both to get a killer deal, as well as trading in my 2022 WRX Limited and a Buick Regal Tourx that was my wife's. The dealership was able to match the Carvana quote, which then also save me a few thousand in taxes on the car, as well as 3000$ off MSRP. I feel like I got a killer deal on a leftover 25 that they had sitting for many months.

So far I have the Acura ADS module coming, as well as the PRL RMM. That will be it for now. I do plan on getting some sort of intake, either PRL Carbon or something along that lines, inlet pipe, intercooler, and maybe DP in the future.

I have experience with Hondata from my FG2 Si and Cobb with my VB Wrx. It seems like the community prefers Hondata due to the limitations the Cobb has with emissions. I am not sure that is something I will be worrying about as I do not plan to modify my car past intake, inlet pipe, intercooler, and maybe DP.

It does seem like most people lean towards Hondata for tuning purposes. I dont plan on going that route for a little while, but I will continue to research until I am ready to get it tuned. The good news is that I do not live far away from IMW Tuning in Carlise PA, so I may end up taking a trip down there for tuning purposes.
