My guess is that it's likely a bolt on pedal assembly. Also I doubt it will feel any different unless you drive both back to back looking for a change. The FL5's pedal is already great.
Haha yeah that's what I'm hoping. I think the braking performance is solid but I've never been as pleased with the actual pedal feel as I have been with other cars. Excess play at the top of the pedal travel, which reading the Honda PR materials seems to have been an issue that they identified if they made a modification. No reason great can't better! The tweaks affecting performance and driving dynamics are way more interesting to me than the aesthetic stuff.

Where have you found the parts catalog for the 2027 CTR? The newest I've been able to find online are the 2026 MY catalogs, like on dreamshop and all the dealer-run part websites.
I think its the parts network at a dealer

Are you running OEM fluid, pads, calipers, rotors? Brake feel is pretty subjective but I’ve not noticed any issues with feel of the pedal. Fresh SRF and Paragon pads had it pretty dialed in for me. Going to the AP Racing Radical calipers/rotors with Ferodo pads has made it even better. I have never considered a need to change anything with the pedal other than adding SRP pedals for a higher friction pedal surface.

I'm curious whether this spring will actually improve pedal feedback or make it worse.

My understanding is that the spring helps to hide excess play at the top by adding resistance. But, the reason there's excess play is because you're not actually activating the cylinder at that point in the pedal position. Wouldn't adding resistance actually mask feedback, by making it harder to discern when the pedal is effective versus when it's just in "free play"?

This seems similar to the clutch helper spring, which (combined with the damper) actually hides clutch feedback behind fake resistance.

I am not sure this is a plus for those that value feedback and communication in their inputs.

(Of course, I could be wrong.)
