  1. FL5 spoon springs for sale

Gah, you’re in Clarksville! I’m in Franklin. I am super tempted, but saving for Ohlins. Who are you using for installation?
  2. Active Dampers too stiff on FL5. Disabled with Damping Cancellation Kit

I feel zero difference in turn-in with the ADS swap, and believe that to be placebo. Increased negative camber is going to effect turn-in more than stiffened dampening. Adjustability is key. Every track is different. My previous Golf R had a race mode and a Nurburgring mode that was faster on...
  3. Southeast Type R Rollcall- NC,SC,TN,MS,AL,GA,FL

Missed this a bit back when I got it in April. Franklin, TN
  4. Active Dampers too stiff on FL5. Disabled with Damping Cancellation Kit

Here’s my confusion. https://www.ohlinsusa.com/parts/2017-2021-honda-civic-type-r-fk8-auto-rt-hos-mt00s1 if you Google that with S1, it’s the PN I’ve always seen for the FK8 ones.
  5. Active Dampers too stiff on FL5. Disabled with Damping Cancellation Kit

Well, shit. ? Hold up, this is the exact same part number for the kit for the FK8. I thought that it didn’t quite fit right with height adjustments?
  6. Active Dampers too stiff on FL5. Disabled with Damping Cancellation Kit

Ohlins for sure my plan when FL5 specific. Have 18”s waiting.
  7. Active Dampers too stiff on FL5. Disabled with Damping Cancellation Kit

Well... Acura ITS ADS installed. I can definitely attest that everything works properly, including push to hold for full stability/traction control off. I differ from the video reviewer in post #72 a bit. He said: "Way smoother and softer, less aggressive"- I found that not to be accurate. My...
  8. Hondata FL5 FlashPro released

Any of y’all want to come up here for this, hit me up. I’m on the fence, but if a couple of you do it too, I’ll get off the fence pretty quick. ?
  9. Hondata FL5 FlashPro released

Damn you, brother! I don’t want to wade through that crowd. But it’s local. Almost tempted.
  10. Active Dampers too stiff on FL5. Disabled with Damping Cancellation Kit

Scratch that. Shipping confirmation, and package has been picked up from origin!
  11. What other Honda's have you owned?

Fun thread. All manual transmission for me. -94 Prelude Si -93 Prelude VTEC -00 Prelude (The crappy shift forks and the arrival of the Evo were enough for me to swear off Honda for over 15 years. The Type R brought me back.) -18 FK8 -23 FL5 So five in all. I’ve left the wifemobiles out...
  12. Active Dampers too stiff on FL5. Disabled with Damping Cancellation Kit

blarg. :( That’s why mine hasn’t shipped yet, I bet. Darn it.
  13. Whats your other car in addition to your CTR?

My wife has a Mk7 GTI. My daughter has a Mk5 GTI. I picked up an E46 330i ZHP manual to eventually give my son (he’s only 14 lol) but I love driving that analog old whip.
  14. Active Dampers too stiff on FL5. Disabled with Damping Cancellation Kit

Where is this module located in the FL5?
  15. Active Dampers too stiff on FL5. Disabled with Damping Cancellation Kit

Purchased. The R is insanely bouncy in high speed corners. I am hopeful this will work and allow me to run it in +R with traction control fully off for better livability. If it doesn’t work as expected, it can be a learning experience.
  16. 2024 Acura Integra Type S Observations

Quoted part in bold for emphasis in reply. While it is clear that the ITS Savagegeese tested made more power than their CTR, it’s equally clear that the motortrend CTR was the most powerful of the two, based on trap speeds. The low end torque shown on the dyno graph during the ITS pull has...
  17. Acura Type S... Dissapointing

They couldn’t be bothered to come out, haha. But I didn’t go in to ask them to, either. I live down the street in Franklin.
  18. Acura Type S... Dissapointing

I stopped at the dealership to snap a pic. I don’t like it in person too much. I’m not a fan of the grill, rear end, or seats.
  19. 2024 Acura Integra Type S Observations

We often see things similarly, but we’re way out of sorts right now, cuz. I’m starting to wonder if the YouTube millennial brigade is too young to remember and completely missed the bus on this back in the day? There’s an unsung hero here: THE money maker that held down the affordable import...
