This is my first sports car, but it seems like the FL5 is somewhat of an exception with its handling. Specifically in the fact that it goes exactly where you want on turns. When people would tell me it stays flat on turns, I never believed them, until the point where I took a tight turn really...
Only reason I wanted electric seats is because they tend to have finer adjustments. I have funky proportions and spent the last 2.5 weeks getting my FL5 seat juuuusssst right. Just kinda wish the lower back support was higher up on my back though.
Other than that, maybe a closer clutch pedal...
Might be a great case to actually keep it on them. If that sport gets hit with crap all the time, why not let the little plastic ride a little longer? Might do that and check it daily
And that's the thing, unless you know that the cars are the same, the FL5 and DE5 just don't attract the same audience. If I was just some random rich guy off the street who wanted a sporty manual, why would I go to Honda? My poor uncle drives a Honda, I want an Acura.
The subdued design and...
I think for most people the difference is one car is boy racer and the other is boy racer, but trying really hard to act mature. Exact same car underneath, but the type R is trying real hard to say "I'm a track car", while the de5 is trying real hard to say "I'm refined". If it weren't for the...
I think this is placebo, a bigger ground wire is great, but it really doesn't do anything to make the car drive smoother. If it does, you have bigger problems.
Is the installation cost too much for you to part out? I would definitely be interested in some of the stuff you have.
I know for some people the amount it cost to have work done, in addition to also not having the original parts, is a big reason they don't de-mod a vehicle. It was the case for...
10 years is long time to keep an adhesive on something that you intend to protect from damage. At that point people deserve the paint damage lol.
In either case, the same can be said about ceramic coats that're like $1500-$2000. To each their own.
Firmly disagree. Not everyone buys a car (especially the type r) to sell it down the road. Wanting to protect your cars paint is a perfectly normal thing to do. My last car I traded in for the type R was a civic sport. I would obsess over each and every scratch that car had. Always wished I...
Yeah, it's not a bad looking car. I'm not the biggest fan of the lack of a manual transmission, but Honda still has the physical gears, so you at least feel shifts unlike a Prius or Toyota hybrids. Plus a lot of supercars have tried the hybrid approach and so has Honda, this just seems like...
The looks of the new prelude have really grown on me. Not necessarily a fan of the drivetrain, but I could see myself buying this as a commuter car for a mother in law or something ?
Then I hit the rev limit (luckily), haven't money shifted yet, the closest I came was the second day of driving the car when I went into neutral, braked and then accidentally shifted into second, but auto rev match handled that
