I'm not sure which downpipe you are asking about but I can say that I have never heard any comments regarding loose heat shield bolts coming loose. In regards to our downpipe, the general design is for the most part identical to PRL but the machining is no longer performed by PRL and we use a...
Unfortunately most every "catback" system on the market is designed for use with the factory downpipe which can lead to undesired results when paired with a high flow downpipe. Some of the higher end exhausts take this into consideration, offering resonated and non-resonated options. These...
If it's not leaking it will run "ok" but that certainly isn't going to flow air as it should. You may can get it to last long enough for PRL's titanium inlet to hit the market if that was something you were considering. They are fairly easy to replace.
Manufactured at the lowest cost possible, quality and fitment are secondary concerns. Your FL5 deserves better. I'd recommend a nice used downpipe over new PLM any day.
@phothrottle please know this is nothing against you but I must share that I had a very poor experience with the ATX30 Restart battery in my FL5 this year. (shuts off while driving, won't allow the car to start, etc) Antigravity eventually helped me replaced it with the ATX30 HD model which has...
@TW00Si The only other person I know doing FL5/DE5 ECU unlocks in the US is Derek Robinson. He is in PA and (with an appointment) you can drive up and have your ECU unlocked, no problem. It's a bit of a drive but much closer than California!
These go through quite a bit of prep before coating. On the bronze cover I have on my car the threads are not coated. However, as thin as the Cerakote product is, I don't think it would matter regardless. The Spoon covers are certainly nice and well sell those as well but we are happy to offer...

Thanks for your interest! Our Stage 1 tune supports what I would call basic bolts on... quality intake, exhaust components, etc. Once you get into turbo upgrades, fueling upgrades, etc custom tuning becomes the only way to optimize the car for maximum (safe) power output.
What I loved about the Spoon car is that it's an actual race car. They put countless hours into the build and then completed the 25 Hours of Thunderhill with it last weekend.
There are lots of variables here but in short I would say these results are in line with what I would expect based on the information provided. I'm not sure what you are comparing your build to but keep in mind that not all posted results on the internet are completely honest and forthcoming...
I have 15 units that are manufactured and allocated to us that I expect to receive within the next 2-3 weeks. They are not in stock today. I've learned to not promise anything but we are doing our best to get caught up on PRL products...
We have 23 PRL 11th gen motor mounts in stock.
I use one on my FL5 and have found it to be a great balance between increased performance while maintaining comfort (minimal NVH).
