I wholeheartedly agree. It gives you a street setup for the car which I would argue would also make you faster on some tracks. The stiffness wasn’t a huge issue for me it was more the bounce that really could throw the car off if you get a mid corner bump. My theory is they were going so hard...
The other thing id like to do eventually is to get some more character out of the engine. If anyone has had good results with a new header or something it would be great to know.
Definitely recommend it if you’re thinking of doing it. Noticeably quieter and smoother ride with the 35 sidewall. Not huge but I definitely noticed the change. Also gives you more tyre options.
I think you have to think of washing your car as part of the hobby. Just put a podcast on and zone out. I don't know if it's just me but I find it satisfying. I'm always trying to get better at it.
All great advice. It's just pracice and then before you know it, it will be all muscle memory in a way and you won't even be thinking about it.
About the 3,000rpm shifting advice, I'll second what others have said. This car in particular feels at it best higher in the rev range (once warmed up...
