Not sure, but the tire profile looks a tad larger - like 35 vs 30. If they shrink the wheels at all the size would need to adjust up of course.
I love the feel of the OEM 20's and am keeping them, but if Honda actually engineered it from scratch with 19's that would be okay, maybe better. The...
Sounds like some improvements then. The 10th gen SI seats looked good and even felt okay initially, but over time not so much. Curious as to driving impressions. I often recommend Civics,, so curious to see how the 11th gen stacks up.
Waiting to see the SI and Type R. So far, some good things, to be fair. Better mileage and power is always welcome. But piano gloss black shows fingerprints easily and is now something of a design cliche. The honeycomb is cool. For me I prefer integrated screens, but the size is good on the new...
By trying to offend no one, they have disappointed almost everyone. Wasted opportunity to follow up the game changing 10th gen design with another winner.
Design should come from passion, not fear.
The tenth gen was...a 10. This boomer bought two- an SI and then an FK8. So don't give me any of...
Gee, manual only...like it should be. More than enough automatics out there. Rowing your own in a Honda is easy and fun, not exactly laborious,.
Bad traffic is bad traffic and always annoying. Don't blame the manual.
I see your point. It would be like a 65 year old being seen in a Type R...oh wait, that's me.
As for pricing, the $ 23,500 I paid for my new SI in Aug 2017 is looking like even more of a bargain. The $ 35K I paid for my '18 Type R - just $ 7K more than for a new Civic Touring - also...
Yeah, seats were a weak point and one of the reasons I traded from the SI to the Type R. The Type R seats not only look cool, and hold you in place, but they are very comfortable on longer drives, no soreness or stiffness getting out. The SI seats seemed okay at first, but after a year or so the...
Pluses: Thinner A-pillar for better visibility. More knobs, switches. A good trend. Me like.
Minuses: Just about everything else. No manual, just a-cringe-CVT, screen sticking out instead of integrated, weird honeycomb- and you thought it was questionable on the 10th gen rear vents, and a...
Good news and bad news for Honda.
Good news: I have now seen the new Civic design and am very excited.
Bad news: I am very excited about keeping my 10th gen.
Happy Birthday! The design looks okay, not as exciting as the 10th gen, but has possibilities. Will need to see the SI, hatchback, CTR. I agree that Hondas often look better in person than in pics.
Wake me up when something worthy appears. Maybe the interiors will be dope. So far underwhelmed. Don't hate it, just not inspired.
Agree with other posters the hatchback, SI and CTR will tell us if Honda has another winner- or just caved and played it 'safe'.
Which to me is the riskiest thing...
First, thank you for sharing the photos and information.
For me, I love the 10th gen looks, and am not too excited so far by the 11th gen pics.
Maybe the SI and Type R versions will look better, but not feeling this at all. Seems like Honda tried to play it too safe with the design. Even...
Great, Now if I have trouble falling asleep I can pull up a pic of the 11th gen Civic. it's not ugly. It's just sort of there. Sort of.
Whereas the first time I set eyes on an Aegean Blue 2017 Si - I was blown away. And bought it.
And for all you alleged 'journalists' who insist the styling...
