You're going to get A LOT more car if you buy the touring. Not only the wheels you like but the bigger infotainment screen(9 inch vs. 7 inch), the bigger LCD instrument dashboard(10 inch vs. 7 inch), leather seats, and the much stronger, faster turbo engine. You may not care about the blind spot...
So, if you're in the U.S. the sport hatch w/manual is going to be:
1. A slower non-turbo
2. Less cargo room than 10th gen
3. Smaller 7 inch infotainment compared to sport touring's 9 inch infotainment
4. Smaller version instrument cluster than the sport touring's 10 inch instrument cluster
The...
My best advice is to stay away from the 1st year model and in the mean time save as much money as possible. If you can find a way to buy the car instead of lease you will save a lot more money.
I agree, although the newer hatch intrigues me I'm thinking to myself; "I've got a very nice 10th Gen Si that's paid off, no maint issues, low mileage, super fun to drive, probably the best Si ever". Do I want to go to a freaking dealer, who I hate because they lie and treat me like SH!T, spend...
I had the 6th Gen Si, shipped it to Oahu it got stolen twice. I then went through 2 Acura TL's and a Scion xB before going back to the Si world with my 2017 10 Gen.
So far the hatch looks better than the sedan, I like the blue color, the rear windshield wiper, and I"m glad we still have the rear lobster claw taillights.
Still, I'm going to hold judgement until the 23rd. The things I'm looking for are is the Sport Hatch available in both manual + Turbo? How...
This is a great question, although I could be wrong I believe the Si will have better parts not just the LSD. Some of the differences may be that the Si has larger front brake rotors, stiffer front & rear springs, Stiffer mounts, same bushings as Type-R, same control rods as Type-R, better rear...
I'm wondering what hatch to buy if no turbo in the sport hatch. I don't like the Toyota corolla hatch as doesn't have enough cargo room in back.
Soooo, that will lead me back to the civic sport touring hatch if it has the turbo & 27/28 cu ft cargo in back. I used to have a Scion xB so...
This 11th Gen Hatch might be a couple of inches longer at 180 inches vs. the 178 inches of the 10th Gen.
Looks like it'll have closer to 28 cu ft. of hatch space instead of the outgoing hatch 25.7 cu ft.
I'm surprised they didn't fix the rattles by the 2020 model year. If it's the A Pillars then it's easy to take the 1 screw out and put some foam dots up and down the pillar to stop the rattling.
Yeah, I'm kinda with you on this one. I'm pretty happy with my 17 Si, it's been a great car and at 38,000 miles there no reason to rush out and buy another Civic. I think I'll stick with my Si for another 2-3 years I'd rather have my car that's a little over the top with waffle griddles than a...
I think this would be a great move. The 21 Sport Hatch has all the kinks worked out + 180HP Turbo. My question is will the 22 Sport Hatch come with a Turbo?
