  1. Sold '20 SI after 1 year of ownership - '22 SI worth the leap or will it leave me similarly disappointed?

I hope you didn't sell your 2020 Si. I would wait at least 2-3 years to buy a new car it's just a madhouse out there right now.
  2. 10th gen Si totalled. 11th gen Si advice..

I've had my 10th Gen Si for 4 years..it's a nice car esp. if you tint the windows, upgrade the stereo w/amp/a real sub plus spend on some higher quality tires. I'd be hard pressed to go with an 11th Gen Si since they skimped out to make room for the Integra. I'm with you a manual all the way...
  3. Build Quality

This is bad news. Honestly I've had very few issues with my 2017 Si and I bought it after it was wrecked. Guess I'll keep it a few more years.
  4. Be careful...

I'm pretty sure they'll fix it for free but if they say no I'd take it to Safelite, no would I pay a dealer a single dime. Nice to know Honda made the 11th Gen interior so much better. The first year of a new model can be rough.
  5. 2022 SI vs 2020 SI?

I have the first year of 10th Gen, I love the car but I'll list my biggest cons and pros: Cons: 1. My biggest complaint is the road noise, unless I'm on a newly paved road it's pretty loud. 2. Stock stereo power/sound output is pathetic, literally sounds like an AM radio. If this was my daily...
  6. Classy Si vs Mad Max WRX

I have to agree. Beginning in 1988 I said to myself I'd only buy Honda or Toyota from then on. Since then I've had 2 Accords, 1 Prelude, 2 TL's, 1 xB, 2 Civic Si's. Only one of these cars was a big letdown, one was meh, and the other 6 were better than what any other car brand can offer.
  7. Reason you went from 10 gen Si to 11 gen Si?

YES! Wait a year and go for the Integra, isn't there a big demand for an Si Hatch? What happened to make people forget?
  8. The 2022 Honda Civic Si Joins The Dealer Price Markup Circus - Article

I wanted one of these back in late 83 but let it be known this $5698 version(0-60 in about 15 seconds)is the base model, the Civic DX and S were much better. Also, this base model didn't come with A/C(probably at least an $500 option) nor power windows. My dad did buy the 1984 Civic S hatch for...
  9. Everyone loves the 11thgen 2022 Civic Si : Straight Pipes review - “Perfect Civic!”

I'm sure the 11th Gen is a great car but it sure doesn't seem like a great value I think you hit the nail on the head. I'm sure the 11 gen Si is a great car, but why get rid of a 3 or 4 year 10 gen Si? which is one of the best Civic's ever? It doesn't make sense unless you're the type that just...
  10. Downgrade from 2021 Type R to SI

Probably a horrible move. Let me ask, if you sell your Type R and then buy a new Si (AND pay all the taxes/registration fees) will you have an extra $5,000 or $10,000 in your pocket?
  11. Everyone loves the 11thgen 2022 Civic Si : Straight Pipes review - “Perfect Civic!”

So true, I live on the far west side of Vegas and several nights a week I'll drive over to my friends house.. on the way I get to engage a round about(which occasionally I'll go around 2-3 times at the very edge of spinning out of control), then a sharp right turn w/ a constant acceleration up a...
  12. The 2022 Honda Civic Si Joins The Dealer Price Markup Circus - Article

I remember buying my 6th Gen Si in early 2000 for around 17.5K. Several people at the dealer emphasized that when the 6th Gen first came out(approx 18 months earlier) they were selling for at least 19-20K. The heat will die down.
  13. Picked up 2022 Civic Si Sonic Gray - my review & first impressions!

Here are the prices I see in Ontario, Canada: Official Honda Canada Website - Civic Touring Sedan(CVT): $23,930 USD - Civic Si: $26,211 USD Toronto Dealership Website - Civic Touring Sedan(CVT): $26,069 USD - Civic Si: $27,966 USD I believe Canadians pay 13% tax on new cars so a Civic Si might...
  14. Should I buy a Honda?

GOD knows what those fees are. I won't go onto a dealer lot ever again, my Si is a salvage but runs great for half price. I used to be overseas and when I came back it's the greed that depresses the shit out of me. Now I'm going back overseas I'll miss driving my 2017 Si but that's about it. In...
  15. Should I buy a Honda?

It's definitely not a bad idea to pay off your car and any other bills you may have. I have real estate agents bugging the shit out of me all the time, saying "now is the time to buy" and "what about your future?" One agent who I barely knew showed me a list of all these crazy charges they add...
  16. Should I buy a Honda?

This is the correct solution to your finances.
  17. For those who want an Si hatch... presenting the 2023 Acura Integra Hatchback

From today's 1st ever Acura Integra Prototype public reveal: - This prototype could be base or A-Spec - Larger/Longer than Civic Hatch or Sedan - Nicer overall interior than Civic - Leather interior seats black/gray w/suede insert - Front seats more like TLX(w/adjustable headrests) than Si -...
  18. Picked up 2022 Civic Si Sonic Gray - my review & first impressions!

Congrats, you're Si looks great! It's funny just the other day I saw a 7th gen Si in the wild(which is very rare where I live) and I thought it's amazing how far we've come.
  19. Official 2022 Civic Si Specifications & Features

They're stocking up on these high performing heated everything Civics. Warm, comfy Civics are key to their planned invasion of the U.S.
  20. Question ... Please - torn between 2022 Civic Hatch LX or 2022 Accord LX?

I would ask my wife which car she would feel happier with..but I'd have a list of the important differences between each car. For example, some of the differences between the Civic LX and Sport Hatch are: LX Possible unacceptable loud road noise...
