any idea what the stock wheel offset is?
Thanks, and shucks. The wheels I like only come in a 45 offset so fitment would be like so

These guys or the TS-6s as wellWhich wheel?
I'm in the same boat
Stock wheel offset is 19x9.5 +60. 18x9.5 +45 will be the perfect spec for this car for those who want to fit better rubber and reduce unsprung weight in the aftermarket realm.any idea what the stock wheel offset is?
How's 18x10 +41 looking? My wheel math is rustyStock wheel offset is 19x9.5 +60. 18x9.5 +45 will be the perfect spec for this car for those who want to fit better rubber and reduce unsprung weight in the aftermarket realm.
It will work but you might lack inner clearance - Our TE37SL in 18x9.5 +45 5x120 will have about ~2mm more inner clearance with the inner liner/firewall and at full lock, and it will be flush. The 18x10 +41 will be about ~10mm more outwards poke than what you see below. How's 18x10 +41 looking? My wheel math is rusty
That should be similar to the FK8, right? I was at -2.5 camber all around with cut rear fenders. It will work but you might lack inner clearance - Our TE37SL in 18x9.5 +45 5x120 will have about ~2mm more inner clearance with the inner liner/firewall and at full lock, and it will be flush. Yes and no - The FK8 previous gen could fit 18x10 +41 (effectively same outward clearance as 18x9.5 +~35) which required fender trimming. It is very likely the new FL5 11th Gen CTR will not require any fender work for 18x9.5 +45 squared setup. The last thing people would like to do is to cut up a new FL5, so if one would like to fit 18x10 or even 18x9.5 +38, they would likely have to atleast massage the rear and front fenders on this new gen. The good news is that it looks like there isn't a "fake" flare on the new CTR like the FK8 Gen. We would say that only the 18x9.5 +~45 sizes would prove to be a bolt-on affair. It's a bit more conservative in sizing compared to the FK8 CTR from what we are seeing. That should be similar to the FK8, right? I was at -2.5 camber all around with cut rear fenders.
Oof, that's too bad. Thanks for the detailed response though, much appreciated. I guess I'll hold onto my OGs for a while and see if anyone tries to fit 18x10, but it looks like I'll need some new wheels at some point.Yes and no - The FK8 previous gen could fit 18x10 +41 (effectively same outward clearance as 18x9.5 +~35) which required fender trimming. HODL! But yes, it looks like 18x9.5 +45 might be the limit on OE suspension, any lower of an offset will not only increase the chance of rubbing at full compression, it is likely going to induce torque steer which the old FK8 CTR chassis experienced quite a bit with lower offsets.Oof, that's too bad.
