I walked in (dealership I had purchased my Accord from previously) and said to them āI donāt see a long line out the door wanting to purchase your Civic Type Rā and was told in response that so far only prospective buyers who couldnāt get financed. After two weeks of this rhetoric, they finally came down in price, so I went in and paid them in cash.Because they're all hoping to somehow have values shoot up because its limited edition, even though they're the same ones that will walk into a dealership and say "It's just a Civic!" as a markup negotiating tactic.
