I better be first in line for pre-order. Just confirm whether there is any noticeable drone. :)

Man, I just want more details on this exhaust so I can make plans for the purchase! @Vlad@27WON any official word? Has the pre-order timing changed from what was previously mentioned? The YouTube comments seem to say preorders would be going live this week.
The timing has changed. I do hate to be the bearer of bad news on that. Part of why is the addition of another version of this exhaust that was not previously planned for launch. We want to ensure supply meets demand across all versions. I suppose more options is not a bad thing, but Q1 of 2025 is set. Exact ETA is TBD.

As far a pre-orders, we usually like to have an exact ETA in mind before moving forward with opening orders. That helps set expectations for customers so they are not waiting months and months for parts. We've been consistent with that I think (barring any unforeseen delays 😆)

Thanks for the update Vlad!

Let me guess... You guys are making a version with black tips? I did see quite a few people asking for that on social media.

I'm definitely interested!

I can't imagine the delay is just for a different tip color. I'm thinking maybe an unvalved version?

Good guess, but no! If you look across all of our exhausts, we stick with SS tips. Although I'd like to see another color myself in the future so never say never :)

I’m guessing y’all are working on both a cat-back and full turbo-back version like you offer on the FK8? If so, hopefully both options keep the valve.

I mean they would simply include their own DP at a discounted cost if you were to choose the turbo back option so it’s nothing really new.. unless there’s an updated DP that they’re working on.

I had the impression the version they were working on was a full turbo back option. So they would just need to make a few changes to alter into a cat-back version that can attach to the OEM pipe. I would think if they were making a big change it would take more than a few months to implement. The fact that they are still saying Q1 makes me think it's something smaller in scope.

The only other thing I can think of would be resonated vs. non-resonated versions, but I would think that would take more than a few months to develop and manufacture.

We will find out soon hopefully

Watching this thread. This is the best sounding exhaust I've heard for the FL5. Never had intentions on parting from the OEM exhaust until now.

I would also assume that they plan on including a front pipe with their exhaust system, just like they did with the FK8 version.

I do have an upgraded Turbo/Downpipe already installed as well, so I hope their front pipe is universal and can easily cater to people who are still using the OEM DP or an aftermarket one from another company.

As for resonated vs non-resonated, It could be possible for different versions, but as far as them implementing the OEM valve, it would make sense for them just manufacture only a muffler version for now. And if they plan for it, maybe a non-resonated with no valves would be nice!

I like the deeper tone of stainless steel over titanium as well, so it won’t hurt me if they don’t plan for that too.

Exactly my thoughts! Although this topic of sound is 100% subjective.. I must say I love the sound of rumbling V8s, who doesn't? However, I am very picky when it comes to exhaust sounds on smaller output engines (4 cylinders). There's a difference between noise vs good sound. Old school Subaru STI had a good sound. I want some sound there when I put my foot down, but I don't want loud noises when I'm cruising around with my family in there grocery shopping, just for the sake of being louder. Also not a fan of pops and bangs on these small engines, sounds like literally fire crackers, I don't want firecrackers in my muffler lol. My 2023 CBR 1000 has a muffler and flashtune. There is a sweetspot on the throttle when decelerating that I can cause some very mild pops, that has a good mild rumble. Which is different than very distinct pops and bangs.

I am sure the exhaust sounds great but I don't think we can say it does yet from that short video
