It seems like @Vlad@27WON edited some posts above as I was thoroughly confused earlier reading the whole resonated vs. non-resonated. It kept being referred to incorrectly.

Most of us with a stock downpipe want the NON-resonated version which is coming later.

I don't understand why removing the resonator would delay things but maybe they made the decision about using the resonator for everyone and then found that it was too quiet on stock downpipes and had to make another batch after the fact.

Just little bit confused,

Simple question: Is the 80mm front pipe fits the 3rd party OE placement downpipe?

That means it fits most of the downpipe as they are OE placement.

I want an exhaust system. I want this exhaust system. I just don't want a check engine light if I do a downpipe. The downpipes seem to be sensitive this generation.
We ran the 27WON Downpipe on our first FL5. On the same day we also installed the Kuro, put in the unlocked ECU, and uploaded a basemap from DRob until we hit the dyno a week later with him for proper tuning.

At no point did it throw a CEL. Same downpipe on our FK8 for 1.5 years, and it looks stock underneath all the shields.

No change in sensitivity between FK8 and FL5/DE5 ECU's. I personally feel that the audience is more sensitive.

As many of you may know already we're Canada's only authorized 27WON Dealer. The exhaust is now available for purchase through us :)

Just in case someone doesn't know, 27WON is the only brand we carry with a regional distribution restriction. All other brands we can retail to folks both sides of the border. Due to shear market size and more disposable income in general, our US customer base is more than double the size of Canada.

I'm just going off of what I've read and trying to verify ahead of time mind you. I've not changed the exhaust yet. I have a phearable stage 2 tune and that's it so far.

As long as you get tuned , CEL already been blocked by DRob i supposed, almost none of the downpipe can't throw a CEL.

I installed HKS catless downpipe on stock FK8, no tune no CEL. I installed Earth Dreams catless dp on stock FL5, no tune no CEL.

I think your post is a bit misleading. The downpipe has no cat, but is clearly using a defouler to trick the secondary O2 sensor to think that there is one there.

I presume you used a defouler then to trick the secondary O2 sensor?

In the US, most tuners won't touch emissions related settings. That is unless they would want the EPA to pay them a visit and shut down the shop.

Purchased mine just now! Been waiting for this to come out and excited to get it on the car with the 27Won downpipe I’ve already got!

This is a 200-cell cat, and the included spacer won't eliminate any CEL's unless the car is tuned for it. Not implying here that 27WON's Catted Downpipe doesn't require a tune - the only one which can get away on a factory tune is TSP's Catted Downpipe, utilizing a GESi High Flow Cat which is emissions compliant.

What I meant was that as long as you have a Hondata FlashPro, you can run any downpipe with the right tune settings and not have a CEL.

It's a 200 cell cat.. get a tune and you are good. If your worried about emissions leave the factory cat on and wait for the cat back option. Having a louder exhaust is also illegal in certain areas so maybe leave it stock and add pieces of flair instead.
