Just got mine today.
I was quite surprised how beefy it is. It looks like a work of art. You can tell it is uniquely made. I was going to wait until I purchased my W1 before I install it but I don’t think I can wait that long. Gonna slap it in this weekend.
Thanks @Vincent@27WON !
When did you order?

04/03 at 5:22. That’s what my order confirmation says anyways. I guess I was the 41st person to place an order.
Oh ok. I guess mine will probably be here around the June time frame.

Got it in! Looks a lot better in person than photos. The pictures I have seen makes it look like it sticks way up. It doesn’t. Fits Right in with the rest of the engine bay. I love it! The install took me about 4 hours because I am not a mechanic and was learning as I went. There were a few typos and discrepancies in the install directions but nothing that people shouldn’t be able to figure out if they use their brain and don’t throw any OEM stuff away. I meant to note all of the mistakeS and present them but I totally forgot and was just ready to be done. The install directions were fantastic! I know writing instructions is not a simple task so bravo @Barett@27WON. When you are a scrub DIYer like me, Clear directions are important. I was a little intimidated by the pipe bending steps but they ended up being a breeze. Couldn’t ask for better instructions on those steps.
I took a short drive to make sure everything was all good. The only slight disappointment is that I can tell the sound of my PRL cobra hiss is greatly reduced. Not a huge con but an aspect that I wasn’t expecting. The discription in the instructions said there would be a more “pronounced turbo induction noise”. Maybe that is just for the 27won intake? All good either way. I will take it back out tomorrow and really open it up. I may end up coming back here and eating crow on that statement.
I am not great at writing reviews. Hope to see someone else articulate a little more on this product.

Got this installed Tuesday night! What a work of art!! This things is beautiful. Intake noises are louder and the turbo can be heard a little bit more. Install wasn’t terrible, took about 3 hours. As previously mentioned, there are a couple typos in the installation instructions, but nothing to be worried about.
Thanks to @Thusee for the inspiration on coloring the 27Won letters

Rallye Red paint pen. 6 light coats of red and 2 coats of clear....all from the same paint pen

just take your time and make sure to do really light coats or the paint will run.

also, use the finest tip applicator option on the pen and put the paint onto a paper plate or something first and then take the paint to the TIP letters. Too much paint comes out when you depress the pen directly onto the letters

How did you guys know your intake was coming? UPS/Fedex tracking number? I'm not seeing any indication mine is coming anytime soon although I was expecting it to ship Friday last week.

Thanks for the reviews. Everyone seems to love it. That's good news. I've been trying to replace this piece since October 2017. The painted red lettering looks really cool.

Thank you for sharing. I will most definitely be purchasing one. I also have chips in my paint in various places so that pen will really come in handy.

where did you order it/pick it up from? Or isthis something you order directly from Honda?

They will provide a tracking number when it’s ready. I ordered mine back on 4/24 and my status is still “awaiting parts”. I’m hoping we get them sometime in early June. yea the TIP is my last bottleneck and I’m so ready to replace that thing.

Excuse for A side question please.

Since your new radiator installed, any improvement on cooling?

TIA.

I have the ups app and it notified me that a package was coming to my house, never got an official “it’s shipping and here is your tracking” email from 27Won

The fans still kick on around 175° I have noticed it doesn’t run much hotter than that where it used to be up in the low 200’s. Haven’t had any crazy warm weather to really test it out yet
