Exciting NEWS about ALTA and PERRIN Performance!

Announcing ALTA’s return to its roots with a new line for Honda Turbocharged models!

While many of you know our company as PERRIN Performance for our dedication to quality products for Subaru, Scion and Toyota cars and ALTA for MINI Cooper. But we started life in the performance auto market back in 1996 exclusively with Honda and Acura cars.

At that time, Honda Civics and Acura Integra’s dominated the scene as “THE” Sport Compact Cars to modify their performance and customize their appearance. ALTA Performance met this need for many clients in the Pacific Northwest as an exclusive distributor for many popular lines and served the community even further with full service installation. This continued up until 2001 when market changes and other influences reduced the profit margins in Honda and Acura performance products as well as both manufactures were discontinuing many of the cars that made the market so popular for modifications.

With the MINI Cooper and Subaru WRX getting set to hit our shores, we made the decision to not only abandon Honda / Acura, but also to pursue manufacturing products for both of these new platforms. By the end of 2001 PERRIN Performance had a dozen very popular products and by the end of 2003 ALTA Performance had a similar amount of parts dominating the US market for MINI.

However, our owner and founder Adam Taft, always pined to be able to return to where his heart truly lied with Honda. Additionally, many of our staff members started their interest in modifying cars with Honda and Acura as well! It is with great elation that we are very pleased to announce that his dream has become a reality and ALTA Performance will not only re-enter the Honda market, but in this case, be able to offer innovative and quality parts to the world!

We are able to take our extensive knowledge of turbocharged engines and apply it to a comprehensive line of products first for the:

2017+ Honda Civic Type R
2017+ Honda Civic Si

And shortly after for:

2017+ Civic Sport / EX
2018+ Accord Sport 2.0T

The process to release these items has been lengthy but worth it. Items will begin to appear on our websites (www.ALTAPerformance.com and www.PERRIN.com) shortly as well as into your price guides. Expect to see initial parts to arrive late Q3 with the complete catalog available by Q4 of 2018. As you have seen with our other lines, additional items to be added over time.

Your business has been appreciated for many years, and we know that these new products will help that relationship grow for years to come. Honda production is ramping up on all of the models we are focusing on, and our expectation is that the clients will be hungry to improve and customize those cars in the same fashion we have seen with Subaru. Market research has shown that many former owners of Honda Civic and Acura Integra models that left the brand when they discontinued affordable and fun cars, are reaching back to the new performance Civic models as an opportunity to enjoy the brand they once loved. ALTA Performance will give you the needed items to service those clients!

As with any new line of products we look forward to your feedback and questions! Please feel free to contact our staff right away so we can get you the answers and info you need.

Thank you as always!

I checked your site, didn't see anything for Honda/ Acura and wondered why Alta is here at Civicx, unless you were going back to your beginnings.
Welcome back! Hope to see some cool stuff.

Seeing the mistaken pic of the Compressor Recirc Valve on the short shift page makes me wonder...

Could this platform benefit similarly with something like that? How similar is the architecture?

Sorry the website is still in the works, the picture you saw was a Compressor Recirculating Valve for the Mini coopers. But yes if we do decide to make a CRV it will be similar and be very beneficial, they hold boost better and are a lot more responsive.

Its so simple but you will be quite surprise on how well it helps with the annoying shifter clunk/rattle :)

Any ideas on when the shifter adapters will ship?

Really interested in the cable lock down. Assuming this is the non-zip tie method I've seen used to realign the shifter cables with a short shifter?

It looks like this piece attaches to the shifter mech itself, then comes with some bands that hold the cable so you don't have to drill holes like with the zip-tie method.

That's what I was hoping. Acuity just launched their short shifter adapter and they have the zip tie method advertised on the site? I'm sorry but that's a little ridiculous? lol

This seems like a much better option, I even like their shift knob setup!
