I know pricing is out for the 2022 Civic Hatchbacks and the Sport 6MT is what I’m looking for as a mildly entertaining commuter car to replace my truck. I’ve checked cars dot com and the Honda website but I don’t see any inventory anywhere.

Yes, I’m aware of the shortage across app brands, but didn’t know if anyone has seen or driven a ‘22 Hatch on the ground yet.

*Will be replacing this….. Super cool to have fun in but wallet draining on my new commute.

Nice. You will enjoy it. I have 2 Civics with the same engine and transmission. Have to hit at least 3k RPM to get going but has power to pass at highway speeds.

When I get my 2022 HB/manual I plan to swap to lighter weight wheels. Will help launch a bit.

What colors are you considering?

Appears these 2022 Sport 6MT Hatchback's aint built until next month according to this Georgia list lol

Nothing for the Sport 6MT hatches "on-hand" or "in-transit".

Definitely red! A twin of my current truck. While I know the Sport Touring and eventual Si will be faster, I want something simple with a N/A motor; I always liked revving the old Hondas out even if they weren’t fast at all.

I do wonder if the extra weight with Gen11 will slow it down too much now, especially in the Sport Hatch with the 18" rims.
Sport HB 2.0 and manual weighs about 200 pounds more than my 2018 Civic LX coupe with manual transmission and 16" alloys. So HB should definitely be slower. I'm planning to downsize my 2022 Sport HB to 17 Enkei TS-10s which I guess will save 30 pounds. Every little bit helps. Will never be a fast car. Just a fun car.
