I'm on 275/35 R19 on 19x9.5 +43. I think anything beyond that may rub, +35 would need much more camber I'd think to not rub..

Ideally I think I could get away with a 275/30 or even 285/30. I was too ambitious with 275/35 but it did ride a lot better!

The Aero-flow Dynamics guy is/was running "god-spec" 18x10 275/35 +40 no camber adjustment with no rubbing on swift springs . Can't recall his tire choice but it was not PS4S. Nevertheless, I know you are looking to run 19's but even at a +40 offset he is not getting any rub in the rear and I do not believe he dialed in any special camber. Maybe your inner lining is loose and rubbing against the tire ? I don't know. Not a professional tire guy so sometimes its luck of the draw. Hope things work out for you my guy.

really debating or not to get 275’s also once my tires are worn out. almost there. I want to stay with 19’s and no springs or spacers, so i’m kinda hoping with the 35 side wall it will be a touch better ride and also being a 275 will help space it out a bit. does this mess with the speedometer or anything changing tire size?

i wonder if there are any 275/30/19’s out there they make?
I am considering the same and based on previous posts it seems that 275/35R19 should fit just fine on OEM tires and unmodified suspension setup.

you mentioned speedometer reading, which I do not care much about, as I always drive as fast as I can :)

but I am curious about something else, the larger tires changes the overall gear ratio, essentially making each gear a bit taller, my guess is that it will make acceleration slower by about 5.22% (same as the circumference difference)

I am also curious about tire pressure, if I move to 275/35R19 and for daily street/highway driving, should I keep the pressure the same? higher? lower?

the taller sidewalls means more flexibility, If I keep the OEM pressure, will it make the ride softer or harsher?

from some searched I've done, it is suggested that the tires might feel overinflated at OEM recommended pressure, leading to a harsh ride and more wear in the tread center. which is counter intuitive since taller sidewalls are more flexible and might lead to more sluggish handling (unless more pressure)

taller sidewalls should increase the tire’s contact patch with the road. but then too much pressure might reduce this patch, affecting grip, while too little could make handling sluggish....

I guess that I'll have to try different pressures and see how it feels...

I would also be curious about tire pressure. I am running 265/35/19 at stock pressure suggestions for 265/30/19 and haven't noticed much of a difference from stock nor did I notice any increase in harshness or sluggish driving dynamics outside of what you would expect from a slightly lower spring and a taller tire. I am also not an engineer nor living my life a 1/4 mile at a time but from a DD stand-point it seems just right for me who is simply going for a OEM + build. Cheers

Initially I was on Eibach Sportline springs with the 275/35 19s no rub with a +43 offset. When I switched to coilovers to go a little lower it rubbed but that was because it needed alignment after installing the coilovers. If you stay stock hight or go with springs I think you'll be fine. It's the offset beyond +43 or +40, that's where I think you'll rub without more camber.

I am running the stock 19's with a slightly taller 35 profile tire with +40 (stock offset of +60 - 20MM spacer) in front and +35 offset in the rear(stock offset +60 - 25MM spacer) with a drop on H&R's (less than an inch) on 265 width with no rubbing . I stated above the offset might become an issue because 275's are .4 inches wider than the 265's so I get it . Things can get pretty tight but .5 an inch can make all the difference between rubbing or not.

I am running 275/35/18s ps4s +40 offset
lowered on swift
front pins pulled -1.8
rear camber arms -2.0

I don't think I am rubbing but I don't know what or how someone can tell they are rubbing.

I only once, noticed a pop or clunk noise going down a steep slope gas station

right now i am thinking maybe my angle wasn't aggressive enough and i scraped

but full lock steering and driving over bumps and small dips in the road oscillating (bouncing) car feels fine no issues no noises that i can hear... maybe tires are loud because the sound of the engine overpowers the sound i hear when i am rolling down in neutral

if anyone experienced rubbing what should i expect it look out for to know if i am or not

Man!
I don't know how threads like this are missing me!

Just today, June 16, 2025, I dropped off my new set of Honda FL5 Forged 19x9.5 ET +60 wheels with a wheel guy for mounting and balancing who has already received my new tires.
The tires?
Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 in 275/35ZR19.
I also have two pairs of H&R 15mm spacers on order that I'll be receiving this week.
My FL5 is on OEM stock suspension and stock dampers.

This will put all four corners on 19x9.5 ET +45 wheels mounted on 275/35ZR19 tires.

Should have before and after photos in a few days.

I think you will like the new set up. I have 265/35/19 on Michelin Pilot Sport 4 AS and they are so much more forgiving but still fun and capable. I was expecting a much "taller tire" considering your origin story- lol. Post pix. GL
