I seem to recall @phothrottle posted a vid a while back talking about the origin of the God Spec label. I want to say it was created by either Advan or Ray’s to refer to their 18x10 +40 rims.
Maybe he can chime in and clear up this confusion…
My buddy Peter (Real Wheel Deal/Invision Auto) came up with the 18×10 +40 spec and dubbed it the God Spec. This spec was deemed near perfect for the fk8 and fl5 that why they called it God Spec. Long story short the God Spec is not a Rays catalog size and has to be special ordered in batches. Rays gave recognition to this wheel spec and asked to start using it.

Lowered on Spoon springs, 275/35/18 Continental ECS 02.
This is the spec; I set my suspension on comfort and the drive feel is perfect.
no harshness at all, between the Contis, the Spoon springs, smaller wheels, 35 series tires, the CTR feels like a mature sports car that can do it all perfectly.

Hey Carlos, I just purchased 18x10 +40 TE37s. I’m really excited. I haven’t got the tires yet but also plan on getting spoon springs. Did you have any issue with rubbing? Long story short. I’m trying to avoid anything involving camber adjustments if possible.
