So I been trying to get a Type R to daily. There is a factory near my job that deals with wooden pallets and drops nails all over. I probably get 2-6 nails in my tires a year bc of this. I try my best to pick up what I can. I am wondering if there is a way to add tpms for each individual tire to the Type R so I know what tire may have a nail ?

Also keen on an answer.

Wanted to reach out to popular Youtube poster (ACURA Master Tech) around if it can be borrowed from the Integra Type S but couldn't make contact.

I bought an aftermarket TPMS from TYMATE I believe it is. It was around $60 and it works pretty well. The sensors screw onto the valve stems and there is a little head unit that displays each tire pressure and temperature. I plug the little display head unit into the 12v outlet.

That's an idea and I have researched them but from my reading I heard they eventually give issues and never are that accurate. That may be the way to go though if there is no other solution .

I really didn't have high expectations for these aftermarket sensors either, but to be fair I've had zero issues with it and it seems to be pretty accurate when matched against my tire gouge.

Can you take a image possibly of the sensors on the wheel when you have time ? Ty

Nope. It is based on wheel speed sensors in the ABS system I believe to determine if one of the four wheels is different and give you a Low Pressure error message. Makes for easy swapping of wheels but I understand some people value individual pressures quite a bit.

Yeah, the main issue with aftermarket solutions like the TYMATE example is that they rely on the cap to seal the valve stem. This is not a very durable/reliable seal and can leak.
